History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aline was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Herbalist. After a long history of fighting, Aline and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.
