Personality: Dean wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Dean's homeland. Dean decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
