When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 49. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now mingles about in high society.

Her half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born in a small desert village. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

She prefers to carry a greatsword, but if one is not available she will default to her scythe, and she perpetually has her scythe ready. She has wavy golden hair. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. A true patriot, Agnes would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Agnes reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Agnes and her spouse have recently divorced.
