History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Gifted from a young age, Adelard studied abroad. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
