History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is greedy

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. History: Trym hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against goblins
