Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: An older man who wears dull black sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sai, just in case, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
