Elysande grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elysande. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Ida was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ida was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Barrister born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
