His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears tattered old clothes. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. Her white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Agatha is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At some point she was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs.
