Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Priest profession.

History: Born in the east to a Tanner, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Priest, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Assassin who has hired him part-time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shoemaker born in the past three hundred years. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
