Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Randal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired her part-time. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
