Clerebold was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Through the years after Emma was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Emma's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
