History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he's looking for his big break

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears suspenders and grey workpants. Her shirt is pastel, and she wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time, and is pretty ugly. She wears a broad hat to cover her moderate length blonde hair. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Matilda wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions
