He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to protect his home

Description: She has a large red mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her tan robe. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. She has wavy silver hair. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ermina is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ermina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ermina. She's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Through the years after Anne was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Anne's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
