Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Bertram was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Maynild was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Anne is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Doctor for hire.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and sabotage a competitor
