Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things
