History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Mary was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student she started as a Ruler, but she got bored and became a Sellsword. She tends to her Sellsword job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. At a young age her father died while driving off some illithids. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in shield use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahlyssa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and many illithids want her driven away
