His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Anselm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Yvonne is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Yvonne has worked very hard to control her curse. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. In her youth she was a Unemployed, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.
