When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but she was a colossal failure. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bowyer, and she later adopted a second son.
