History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Egelina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Egelina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is a Stableman first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
