Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Armorer, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a yellow tunic with black highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has wavy white hair. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. He is portly but not overly obese. He has wavy golden hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: Randal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: Randal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She usually wears her red robe and has her dagger always slung over her shoulder. Her brown hair is greasy and uncared for. Her eyes are violet and beady.
Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: To be a Guard again; and she is unsatisfied with her job
