History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She got into the Sailor business at a young age. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by her family; and she's looking for her big break

History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult.
