Description: 6'2" and muscular, this eastern man is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, white shirt, and violet tie. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Aldous was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and to protect her home

Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a ceremonial dagger on her belt. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Human compassion; and to prove her worth to the world
