Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Hubert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Through the years after Hubert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hubert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
