History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. William fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Susannah was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
