History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Locksmith.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
