Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. A true patriot, Maynild would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Painter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mayor for the past few years.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
