History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She now owns her own business.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
