Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a tan small hat and tan clothes. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His ears are large.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Servant.
