Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Elysande's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Elysande was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has worked as a Carpenter like his mother before him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shipwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a Miller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
