Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cook arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. After coming to the age of reason, Egelina took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
