History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Gerard took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: The child of a Architect, who enjoyed hunting, Katherine was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
