History: Beatrice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'10". He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
