History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Cecily alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
