Personality: He is fixated on the number 49. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: An older woman who is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured, she is not a threatening figure. She is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around her ears. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Katherine reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the south to a Cook, Gomory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he's looking for his big break

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a black vest and prefers tan and grey shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her hair is short and blonde. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Rosamund was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy
