History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born in the east. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Mayor. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
