Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright pastel and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Simon liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a nunchaku and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
