History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Helen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jacoba grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
