Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears tattered old clothes, and is pretty ugly. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She got into the Merchant business at a young age. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To be a Stableman again; and she is greedy

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
