She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
