History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carpenter.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Locksmith and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Chad was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
