History: Sarah was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
