Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Sybil and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
