History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She tends to her Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Matilda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She struck the Fortune-teller job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Bellfounder.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bellfounder and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
