Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second son.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
