History: Beatrice was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. After months of barely getting by, John managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
