His father taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He has gray eyes and a pastel hat with a brown feather.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born to a Barrister, her father struggled to pay the bills. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
