Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bertram will drive conversation. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
