History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he feels kind of lost in life

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
