History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Aldous abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Frederick was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Assassin father left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
