History: She comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Scribe. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Miller. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He takes great joy in being the best Gardener in town.

History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
